Turf Field Terms of Use:
• All League soccer field reservations must be requested through the Town Recreation
MyRec System and must be approved by the Recreation Director or designee.
• Community leagues will be afforded priority booking for the spring and fall soccer
seasons. They will need to make their reservation requests no later than February 15 and
August 15 respectively. General registration opening dates will be subsequent to those
dates and will be posted on the MyRec website.
• All other reservation requests will be approved on a first-come, first-served basis.
• Preferred form of payment is via credit card through the MyRec system. Credit card
payments must be made within 48 hours after approval and at least 24 hours prior to first
date of field use.
• For summer camp programs the following payment policy applies:
o 50% of fees are due within 30 days after approval. The remaining 50% are due
within 60 days after approval OR payment in full is due if reservation is made less
than 30 days from the first day of the field use.
o If payments are not received according to the preceding schedule, field
reservation requests may be cancelled and dates may be released.
• Once a reservation is made and paid for, there are no refunds for any reason.
• Changes may be permitted due to inclement weather or unavoidable emergency if the
schedule allows for accommodation. Request must be made to the Recreation Director or
designee within 48 hours of rental time whenever possible.
• The Recreation Director or designee reserves the right to deny any change request due to
unavailability of the field or if the change is not due to predicted inclement weather,
emergency, or other reason deemed acceptable.
• All leagues will provide the Town with a Certificate of Liability Insurance naming the
Town additionally insured for a minimum of $1,000,000. Certificate must be on file with
the Recreation Director or designee prior to field use.
• All persons using the soccer field, including players, coaches, referees, and spectators are
expected to behave in a manner consistent with use of facilities in a public park.
Complaints concerning behavior, including but not limited to physical violence, threats,
and loud cursing, will be addressed by the Recreation Director or designee, and may
result in denied permission to rent the field.
• Spectators are not permitted on the field and must stand or sit outside of the field fence.
• Smoking, vaping, and use of alcohol or drugs are prohibited.
• If a club or league, or any of their participants are observed to be in violation of the above
rules of conduct, it should be reported immediately to the Town Recreation Director in
writing via email. Details must be included describing the incident, name of club(s)
and/or individuals involved, date and time.
• If a club or league is observed or known to be out of compliance with league rules,
complaints should be directed to the governing league. The Town is not responsible for
enforcing league rules and regulations.
