NO EXCEPTIONS.   * You will need to submit a physician signed  physical (physical must be dated within 12 months from the first day of camp) and  verification of your child's most current immunization record. You will also need to submit proof of residency (tax or utility bill with your physical address and child's school records with matching address) if you are registering your child as a resident of Rhinebeck. You must submit required paperwork the week before camp begins. You can drop the information off at the Town Pool in the large metal mailbox next to the cashier's gate, or email your documents to recreation@rhinebeckny.gov  **PHYSICAL MUST BE DATED WITHIN ONE YEAR OF START OF CAMP AND MUST INCLUDE ANY ALLERGIES, MEDICATIONS OR RESTRICTIONS, AND A STATEMENT THAT THE CHILD IS ABLE TO PARTICIPATE IN CAMP ACTIVITIES** INCLEMENT WEATHER AND CLOSURES:  Persistent or heavy rainfall and/or thunderstorms may warrant camp closures/swim lesson cancellation to ensure the safety of the children. In the event camp closes early, camp staff will contact parents by the preferred method of contact indicated on the authorization form. We will also email camp families and post the information on our Facebook page and on MyRec. We will do our very best to give parents as much notice as possible. HOURS:  Camp hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00am - 4:00pm.  Parents/guardians are expected to drop their children off no earlier than 9:00am and must pick them back up no later than 4:00pm. There will be a late fee applied after 4:00pm ($15 for 1-15 minutes, $60 for 16-30 minutes), payable in cash upon your arrival. If you do not pay applicable late fees as requested, your child will not be permitted to attend camp until such fees are paid.If you are more than 30 minutes late picking up your child, the local authorities will be called. If you intend to drop off your child late or pick up early, please advise the Camp Director at your earliest convenience.
